All Eastern Canadian players interested in trying out for the Men's National Team are encouraged to carefully read the following note and follow up immediately.

The World Floorball Championships Americas Qualifier (WFCQ) will be hosted by the US Floorball Association in Los Angeles, California at the Braun Athletic Center in Caltech, Pasedena between the 3rd and 5th of February 2012. We will be selecting the Team that will represent Canada at the qualification matches, with Ontario tryouts will be starting this weekend and running through the first week of December. The Men's National Team Staff is assembling a list of 30 shortlisted players and will select their final roster of 20 players and alternates by December 9th, 2011.

If you are interested in participating in tryouts and you haven't already registered please go to floorballcanada.ca (Floorball Canada) and fill out the registration form found on the website. The cost to try out is $50 ( + $20 if you attend the Weekend Camp in Ontario, described below). Even if you aren't sure you have what it takes to make the team, we encourage you to take the challenge and compete for a position.

ONTARIO WEEKEND CAMP

3. Fri Dec 2nd, 6:30 - 9:00 pm: Tryout Session 1, Sherwood Secondary School, Hamilton
4. Sat Dec 3rd, 1:30 - 4:30 pm: Tryout Session 2, Harold Brathwaite Secondary School, Brampton
5. Sun Dec 4th, 9:00 - 10:00 am: Tryout Session 3, Harold Brathwaite Secondary School, Brampton
6. Sun Dec 4th 10:00 am - 4:00 pm: TFL Games 1, 2, 3 & 4, Harold Brathwaite Secondary School, Brampton

Quebec based players will be scouted at Montreal Floorball League games as well as specific practices on Tuesday nights. We still encourage players to try out during the Ontario weekend camp, mentioned above.
