Please note, The CANADA CUP, May 21st to 23rd, is a main scouting grounds for this team. To allow the team to start fund raising early, some positions may be announced as early as May. Other positions may be announced in summer or autumn to allow for players to further develop and new players to enter the sport. All positions will be announced no later than November 30th and much effort will be made to name the team as early as possible. GM will contact players selected. Players need to pay a $150 deposit to accept position.
Floorball Canada Responsibilities:
FC will co-ordinate team accommodations, meals and local transportation for the qualifier as well as provide Doping Control Training to all players. FC will arrange for team fund raising campaigns to reduce the cost for everyone. Please note, assuming Team Canada advances on to WFC, playing for Team Canada at the qualifying matches does not confirm a spot on the team that will compete at WFC 2011, nor is it
mandatory. However, the player's commitment to the team and performance at this event will weigh heavily in the determining which players will form the team to compete at WFC 2011. Questions are most welcome.
