The Montreal Floorball League will progress into it's 4th season in October 2008. The league and the players are constantly developing and the QFA has decided that we will form one elite division and one intermediate division for the upcoming floorball season.
The QFA board bases this decision on the league wide survey results and want to also offer different division levels in order to satisfy the increased interest that floorball is generating in the greater Montreal region.

The elite division:
- The elite division will be made up of teams that is assessed as having a minimum standard of level for the elite level.
- Any team that is interested to register for the elite division can do so.
- The elite division will be played 6 vs. 6 so each team require a minimum of 6 players in order to play in the league.
- All games are scheduled to be played at the Cégep St-Laurent on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. (subject to change)
The last date to register a team to the elite league is the Friday the 5th of September. All registration info are to be sent to floorballmontreal@videotron.ca

In order to evaluate and asses the level of the teams interested to play in the elite division, a mini-tournament will be held on the 20-21st of September. It is obligatory for each registered team to enter this mini tournament in order to qualify for the elite division. Note that the date for the mini-tournament can still be changed depending on gym availability.

For the registration to the elite division you need to submit the following:
Team name, name of team contact person (including email and phone number) and make a deposit of 100$.
The deposit is to be sent to the Quebec Floorball Association by mail (mail address can be found here on the website) or handed to Joe Cadigal in person no later than 5th of September.

The intermediate division:
