Montreal Floorball League will start in October and run until April 2011.
The Elite division will be put together by a draft that will take place mid-September. Minimum 4 teams will be formed depending on how many players are interested to register for Elite.
The Intermediate division is looking for teams to join so feel free to form a team and register it. Minimum 4 teams required.
Game dates for both leagues will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8pm to 10.30pm

Tournament rules: 3 vs 3 with goalie and max one change-up (max 5 players per team, including a goalie).
Max one Elite rated player per team (Team Canada level or higher).
Gym: We will be using two small gyms at the same time and game time will be around 1x20min depending on number of teams.
Fee: 150$ per team
Prices: 300$ to winning team based on minimum 8 tournament teams participating.

Floorball Canada is recruiting volunteers to fill the following staff positions for the Canadian Women's National Floorball Team: Head Coach, Assistant Coach (x2), Team Manager, Team Coordinator Athletic Therapist.
Application Deadline: July 16, 2010 Starting Date: August 1, 2010 Term: Till January 31st, 2012 based on Canada advancing to WFC 2011. Till February 28th, 2011, if the team does not advance.

Quebec have four players that will represent Canada at the ladies World Championships starting this Saturday in Sweden.
The four players are: Sara Beha, Marie-Ève Cadieux, Melanie Bellefleur and Cindy-Anne Carufel.

Floorball Canada has appointed Mr. Seppo Pulkkinen as the head coach for the Canada WFC 2010 Project. His coaching staff will include assitants Mr. Pasi Kotilainen, Mr. Eero Piilokivi and Mr. Anthony Herrington.
Seppo and Pasi are coaching the Finnish league team Happee from Jyväskylä. Seppo has an extensive career in national team coaching and Pasi as a national team floorball player.
Eero Piilokivi has a long career in Swedish Innebandy and he is one of the founders of Canadian Floorball during the past decade.
